What I Put in
I used:
- $10 at Lidl
- $15 at Safeway
- $30 on a Hungry Harvest box
- $7 at Aldi
- $98 at Sam’s Club
Annnnnd that provides up to $160.
But we know I’m not gonna do that each one 7 days.
In addition to, I cooked all my foods at property and packed all of my lunches and brewed all of my coffee right here, so I am offering myself a pat on the again. 🙂
What We Ate
You currently observed some of these meals in this week’s Five Frugal Things submit.
Saturday
Zoe was at a gathering of friends, and this is the evening I manufactured the tortellini/tomato/bacon pasta.
Sunday
Zoe was at do the job, and I manufactured asparagus soup for myself.
Monday
Final two times of med surg clinicals! I produced a pot of chicken noodle soup and packed that for my evening meal, alongside with numerous containers of fruit.
Tuesday
A repeat of Monday simply because I like to not have to imagine very difficult when it will come to packing clinical foods.
Wednesday
I utilized the final of the rotisserie hen to make a tiny batch of rooster enchiladas for us, and I am actually rather very pleased of myself for the reason that I just designed them without the need of a recipe.
Look at me more than here, winging it! I built a primary white sauce, using 50/50 chicken broth and milk, extra environmentally friendly chilies and seasonings, and it worked out just fantastic. 🙂
Thursday
I received some hen thighs out of the freezer, applied my trusty chipotle marinade and accompanying sauce, and created a salad for the two of us, topped with do-it-yourself croutons.
Friday
We have some leftover rooster from very last evening, so I’ll likely use that as a basis for one thing. 🙂
