She was speaking about scrolling a lot more mindfully, and she prompt that examining responses in non-public or curated communities is a superior use of time than, say, the opinions segment on information sites.

And she stated that she enjoys reading the comment portion here for that motive!

Soo….her podcast listeners have officially been despatched listed here to go through what you all have to say. 😉

This 7 days, I am thankful:

for funny carrots from Hungry Harvest

Perfectly, I got a bunch of funky carrots this 7 days, and these generally make me snicker because they seem like legs!

I roasted them and they ended up just as great as straight carrots. 😉

that I got to shadow a float nurse this week

My affected person from the working day just before had been discharged, so I bought assigned to tag alongside with a float nurse (an extra nurse who just walks about the device and does no matter what wants to be finished to assist out), and I actually liked that!

I bought to see a ton of diverse kinds of treatment remaining done, which was so educational. And I also received to do some supporting out.

that I know how to method an IV pump now

In earlier months, I’ve noticed this staying carried out, and I have performed it supervised, but now I can confidently program a most important bag and a piggyback bag (like for an IV antibiotic).

Of study course, I’m guaranteed the pumps differ from facility to facility, but I’m pleased I have at least figured out this one particular!

Same goes for the very important symptoms machines at this healthcare facility I was a minimal confused by them on the initially 7 days, but I’m a pro now. 🙂

that I have a long summertime break to seem ahead to

In 7 much more months, we have a good three-month crack from nursing school. Woohoo! My brain will respect the relaxation.

for the appointment method at the DMV

I will by no means, in no way halt remaining grateful for how Covid altered the way this company operates.

I completely, positively appreciate that you can make appointments for issues now it greatly reduces the headache and the wait time. I had an appointment at 12:45 this week, and by 12:46, my title was currently being termed.

(Right before Covid, you just had to show up and hold out in line and hope for the finest. And the most effective was commonly an hours-prolonged wait.)

that I experienced some time to function on my scuffed desk

I’m truly likely to complete this thing, you fellas! I set it on my large spring break to-do checklist previous week, and I did make a small progress.

that I acquired nearly every thing performed on my spring crack checklist

to-do list with a sparkly pen on top of it.

Out of that complete very long list, I left only two matters unchecked…and I did make some progress on both equally of people items (scuffed desk bundled!)

So, yay me! I’m grateful I managed to get so several of people items knocked out.
