I have never tried to cook salmon without it already being seasoned. I used to buy this box of six frozen marinated tiny little prepackaged filets. Don’t get me wrong, they tasted great and were very convenient…but for how small they were for the portion size definitely sent me searching for a better option. So I finally stepped up and bought a 2 1/2 lb salmon (which was a dollar more than my prepackaged kind) and I researched a bunch of recipes to create this one…
After slicing salmon into individual filets (portion size is up to you) set aside for freezing instructions later.
And with the leftover filets…
I separated the filets with parchment paper and put them into freezer bags with the directions written on the outside for easy preparation. This recipe was so easy I didn’t see any need to do anything more in advance than that. Next time I’m ready to make this I’ll just place the sealed bag in hot water for 10 minutes to defrost, season, and bake.
An easy freezer meal made in minutes!
