Footprint Father’s Day Card

Father’s Day Card

Father’s Day is around the corner so let’s get out the art supplies and make some cards with the little ones!

Weave strips of scrapbook paper together and lay them over the front of the card.  Then add a small piece of watercolor paper stamped with ‘Happy Father’s Day’ to finish creating the outside.

Cut a piece of watercolor paper sized to fit in the pre-folded card.  Start lightly painting your little ones feet with a latex paint using a sponge paint brush (no worries momma’s, the paint will come off very easily, but it can get messy and tickly and fun).  Then after it dries add your best watercolor cursive (I had to practice a lot).  When everything is perfect glue to the inside of your pre-folded card and viola!

I love how both of the boys feet come together to make the ‘V’ in the word ‘love’!  Too cute!!!

These were made with the easy card making craft accessories that are available at Michael’s and Hobby Lobby.

  • pre-folded cards & envelopes
  • scrapbook paper
  • water color paper, water colors & brushes
  • stamp pad & stamps
  • star hole punch
  • glue stick
  • latex paints & sponge paint brushes
  • and little feet

This was so much fun to do with my boys.  I hope you like and enjoy!
